2010 EMSystems User Meeting

We invite you to the 2010 EMSystems User Meeting.

This year”s meeting is being designed to share best practices, industry expertise, and innovative ideas to improve emergency preparedness and response for today and tomorrow”s health emergencies. EMSystems has gathered industry thought leaders, clients, and EMSystems subject matter experts to present new and innovative ways to improve and strengthen emergency preparedness strategies. National leaders will share their insight with participants. This year”s theme is Bridging the Gap and will focus on how EMSystems applications provide a common operating picture, bringing diverse stakeholders together to the table: State and Local Public Health, Hospitals, EMS, Emergency Management, and Public Safety.

Highlighted topics include:

  • State surveillance activities and meaningful data aggregation
  • Managing surge situations
  • Large-scale event support
  • Statewide engagement: exercise strategies and user outreach
  • Hospital incident command support
  • Volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Patient Tracking Integration – the TEP standard

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with EMSystems Application Specialists and Product Managers to provide input, ask questions about application functionality, try out handheld devices, and discuss regional configuration options.

This year”s meeting will be held September 22 – 24 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Be sure to identify yourself as an EMSystems User Meeting attendee to ensure the preferred rate. The meeting will end immediately following the lunch session on September 24.
